How does it Work?

The STO passes water through a softening tank to remove all hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium). It uses ion exchange, the only scientifically proven way to remove hardness from water, to give you the benefits of soft water: protects your plumbing and water using appliances, reduces detergenty use, gives you softer, brighter laundry and healthier hair and skin.

The water then moves to the second tank where the carbon removes bad tastes and odors caused by chlorine, chloramines or organic matter commonly found in municipal water. The result is soft, clean water that is safe to use throughout your home.

The STO is available in two models:

• P8 STO. The P8 uses high efficiency softener technology to minimize salt and water use, giving you an environmentally conscious system that saves you money every year. It features a 1” port that’s perfect for larger homes.

• P7 STO. The P7 uses mid-efficiency softener technology to reduce every day salt and water use. It’s affordability means you get great value for your investment.
