BAF Birm Series Iron Filter

The BAF uses a simple, trusted chemical-free process to remove iron from your water.

The first tank has a a compressed air pocket that turns the iron into a solid form in the water. The water then passes through the filter’s media (Birm) in the second tank where it is removed. Birm acts as a catalyst in the reaction between iron and oxygen that also causes the iron to precipitate into a solid.

The BAF automatically regenerates itself periodically to refresh the supply of air and clean the media by removing the built-up iron. The BAF gives you years of trouble-free and worry-free iron removal.
